A Few Things to Consider When Buying Luggage

Posted on

Buying luggage can be difficult. Finding the right piece that is stylish and suits your travelling needs can be a challenge. That’s why it’s important not to leave purchasing your luggage until the last minute—if you buy your luggage in a rush, you may end up with a lower quality piece than you need. If you’re shopping for a carry-on or full-size travel bag for your next big trip, here are a few tips and tricks for what to look for in a quality piece of luggage.

Size and Weight

Nothing is more frustrating than arriving at the airport only to find out that our carry-on suitcase does not comply with your airline’s size requirements and has to be checked. Checked baggage fees are expensive, so avoid a nasty surprise at the airport by ensuring that your carry-on luggage is regulation size to travel alongside you. At iFLY, we have a number of stylish and practical carry-on pieces available so you can find the carry-on luggage that best suits your needs and tastes.

Many people don’t realize that most high-quality luggage comes with a warranty policy. These warranty policies vary—some only offer a fraction of the protection of others. If you experience an issue with your luggage due to a manufacturer’s error, some luggage brands won’t offer you any recourse.

At iFLY, we offer one of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry today. We offer a 10 year honest warranty—if you experience damage due to a manufacturer’s defect, file a claim and we will provide you with repairs, new parts, or a replacement piece of luggage. We will also cover any shipping and handling fees associated with this transaction.

Finding the right luggage to meet your travel needs can sometimes be hard. With iFLY, you can find practical and stylish luggage at a price you can afford. It is pretty frustrating when my luggage doesn’t fit the airlines requirements, it’s happened a few times to me. I’m hoping that the next vacation I go on, I won’t have to worry about it. I’ll have to search online for new luggage, that would probably be the best option for me.
